Domaine du Paraïs

At the gates of the Mercantour National Park, 3 kilometers from the medieval village of Sospel, this former manor house in Italian style was saved from oblivion by a family of artists.

Located in the heart of nature on three and a half hectares of land, it opens onto a park with century-old trees dominated by an Atlas Cedar and a Sequoia.

Gently and respectfully restored, it has retained the majority of its original materials. From the old terracotta tiles to the Salerno tiles of the old kitchen with its Tende stone sink, to the hand-painted floral ornaments of the corridor and frescoes on some ceilings, its 9th-century country charm is still vibrant.

Domaine du Paraïs is a member of the French National Parks brand and has entered into a partnership with the Mercantour National Park.
